Hats off to Joe Dalton!
The Dairybeef: Maximizing Quality and Profits distance education program ( http://dairybeef.ucdavis.edu) has received the American Distance Education Consortium's Excellence in Distance Education-Honorable Mention Award for 2004. Dr. Joe Dalton, AVS Dairy Extension Specialist, located at Caldwell R&E Center, is one of the program's lead specialists. The 7-Western state Dairybeef research and extension group, conducting this program, is an outstanding example of inter-institutional cooperation.
