Every
year the U of I Pre-Vet club participates in many different activities and
events. We are often found visiting the local humane society, local
clinics, zoos, and other animal-inhabited areas. We frequently have guest
speakers from all over the country giving presentations or giving
information on acceptance to Veterinary Schools. Trips to places such as
local horse rescues or the Wolf Research Center provide hands-on
experience for anybody interested in becoming a vet. The U of I Pre-Vet
club is sure to give you the edge you need to be accepted into Vet School.

| Upcoming
Events:
We are currently planning several events, including: 1. Upcoming Meetings: 2. Tentative Schedule of Upcoming Events:
Recent Events: Apr. 26th : We had breakfast with a veterinarian, Dr. Barringer at the Red Lion in Lewiston. He discussed current wolf issues and his part in re-introducing the wolf into Idaho. After breakfast, the club traveled down to Winchester and received a private tour of the Wolf Education and Research Center. We were able to see five wolves that had recently been rescued from Boise and another wolf pair from the center's original pack. May 3: The pre-Vet Club congregated at Dr. Schneider's house for a end-of-year BBQ. We enjoyed relaxing before finals, eating great food, and just hanging out! Other Things to Note: |
