Leaders dinner conference: Feb. 10 At 5:00-8:00 Sub Ballroom

Semester Challenge: we are going to sign up for the challenge. The club will need to have 6 hours of community service projects.

Events:

Humane Society & Senior Centers: Terri and Noe are going to see if we can go to the humane society and maybe bring some of the animals to the senior center. There will be emails going out when the get information back. We are trying to see if February 19 will work for them.

Cat Tales: Terri is going to be contacting them to see if we can have a tour on February 21 but she to will email and let people know what happens with this as well.

(UPDATE)  Terri Said:  "The Cat Tales rescue facility is only open Tuesday thru Sunday.  The director said that the best time to show up is 2 pm because the animals will be up to be fed at 3.  I need the club members to email me back by MONDAY Feb. 7th.  I need to know if the club members would want to go on Sunday Feb. 20th. instead of the 21st.  Please let me know what you think."

(UPDATE 2)  Terri Said:  "We will be going to Cat Tales this weekend Sunday February 20th. We will leave here at about 9 am. If you need a ride we will meet in the AG SCI gold parking lot at 8:30. The Spokane Humane Society hasn't contacted me yet but we are planning on stopping there first. We will spend an hour or so there, then we will meet at Cat Tales at about 2 pm.  After the tour is over we will be going out to eat lunch/dinner. I will send forth maps as soon as i get them.

If you can give people a ride please email me and let me know how many people you would be willing to take.  If you need a ride please email me. 

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING MONEY, $6 FOR THE CAT TALES, MONEY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY A TREAT BAG TO FEED TO THE CATS, AND MONEY FOR DINNER. THE CLUB WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR THIS."

Guest Speakers: There are plans to get the new Vet for the school to come talk to the club. There are also plans of trying to get vet school students to come talk to the club. The date is not set yet. The vet maybe coming and talking on February 15 if it will work with him but there will be signs up to let you all know.

Shirt Designs: If you have any ideas for shirt designs for the club shirts then bring them to the next meeting we will be deciding on what ones we would like to get.

Next Meeting will be February 15, 2005 at 7:00.

Tuesday, January 18, 2005:

We had Austin one of the members come in a give a talk to us about the internship that he did in Seward Alaska at the Alaska Sealife Center.

He told us about the animals that he got to work with and other aspects of the the internship that he did. If anyone would like information on this internship then you can email him and he would be willing to give you information.
